Cancellation Policy
At Sans Getaways and Planning, we know that plans can change. This policy outlines how cancellations and refunds work for our travel and event services.
Cancellation by the Client
Travel Services (Flights, Hotels, Tours, Packages):
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the travel date: A 25% non-refundable deposit applies.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of travel: A fee of 30% of the total booking, or the full amount if required by vendors.
Event Services (Weddings, Corporate Events, Parties):
- Cancellations made 90 days or more before the event: 75% of the deposit is refundable, minus any non-refundable vendor fees.
- Cancellations made within 90 days of the event: 50% of the total cost is non-refundable.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the event: No refunds on deposits or payments made.
Group Travel Bookings (10 or more travelers)
- A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm group travel services.
- Cancellations made 60 days or more before the scheduled departure: Refund of additional payments made, minus the 25% deposit and any vendor-related fees.
- Cancellations made within 60 days of departure: Up to 50% of the total may be non-refundable, depending on vendor agreements.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled date: No refunds will be issued.
- If individual group members cancel, the group organizer remains responsible for full payment unless suitable replacements are arranged and accepted by vendors.
- Additional terms may be outlined in a custom group agreement, depending on the vendor and package selected.
Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days to your original payment method.
- Certain services (e.g. travel insurance, non-refundable flights or hotel packages) are non-refundable.
- Vendor cancellation policies may override our terms.
Cancellations by Sans Getaways and Planning
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to natural disasters, vendor failure, or other force majeure events. In such cases:
- A full refund will be offered, minus non-refundable vendor costs.
- Where possible, we may provide the option to reschedule your booking or event.
Rescheduling
- Rescheduling may be possible depending on availability and vendor terms.
- Requests made within 30 days of travel or event dates may incur additional fees.
No-Shows
If you or your guests fail to attend without notice, no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
Emergency Situations
We know life can be unpredictable. If an emergency, like illness or a family crisis, affects your plans, let us know. We’ll do our best to work with vendors to reschedule or reduce any fees. We encourage clients to secure travel insurance for added protection.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Use your booking reference number and include any details or documents that help us process your request quickly.

We strongly recommend buying travel insurance to protect your plans and your investment. Insurance can help cover non-refundable services in case of sudden changes.
